Pinellas deputies seek clues in case of man shot in head

Deputies said they were called to the Handy Corner convenience store Saturday night, where they found the victim.

Pinellas sheriff’s detectives are seeking help solving a shooting over the weekend that left a man with a life-threatening injury.

Deputies said they were called to the Handy Corner convenience store, 2325 119th St., at about 8:18 p.m. Saturday. Deputies found Justin Darnell Wiley, 31, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a hospital.
