A bicyclist in Largo is in critical condition after being hit by a car Sunday afternoon, according to Largo Police Department.
At about 12:15 p.m., the bicyclist was crossing Oval Drive headed east on Walsingham Road. The driver of the car was making a left turn onto Oval Drive from Walsingham Road when the two crashed, according to police.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition, according to police. No information about the bicyclist or driver was provided.
Police expect eastbound Walsingham Road to be closed until about 3:30 p.m.
