TARPON SPRINGS — A man serving nine years for burglary escaped on foot from a state prison work camp in Tarpon Springs on Monday morning, but by Monday evening he was back in custody, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office reported Monday night that Tyler McFarlane, 23, had been captured and arrested, but the news release did not provide any additional details.
McFarlane was sentenced in Pinellas County in January 2016 to nine years for charges including armed burglary and burglary of an occupied structure, according to Department of Corrections records.
