The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they say robbed a Truist bank in Brandon Monday afternoon.
The man walked into the bank, located at 11015 Causeway Blvd. in Brandon, around 3 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The teller complied, and the man left on foot with an unknown amount of cash.
In a news release Monday night, deputies released images of the robber, described as a white man in a dark-colored shirt, white or light-colored shorts, white shoes, a red, white and blue Columbia hat and gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses.
Anyone who recognizes the man or has information on the bank robbery is asked to contact the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office at 813-247-8200.
