Pinellas opens graduation season with ceremonies at Tropicana Field

Six high schools honored the Class of 2023 on Monday, with more to come.

Thousands of students, family members, educators and friends filled Tropicana Field on Monday as the Pinellas County school system continued a week of commencement exercises that began Saturday. The ceremonies featured graduates from six high schools — Hollins, Gibbs, Northeast, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg and Clearwater.

More graduations are scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday, with all but two at The Trop. Seniors in Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties are scheduled to graduate later this month.
