Hillsborough County’s largest high school has a new principal: Christine Wasylkiw, who was approved Tuesday by the School Board.

Wasylkiw joined the school district in 2005 and was most recently an assistant principal at Sumner, which had 3,800 students last year. She replaces Rob Nelson, who recently was named a region superintendent for the district.

Her appointment follows the approval on July 11 of Corey Jackson to lead Lockhart Elementary in East Tampa.
