School district seeking bus drivers: The Hillsborough County Public Schools Transportation Department is seeking bus drivers to fill about 150 positions. The transportation department will hold an open house at the Harney Road bus depot, 9455 Harney Road, Thonotosassa, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Attendees can see the buses and get information about the positions. Applicants must be at least 21, have at least five years of driving experience, have a valid commercial driver's license and take a written test. Teen forum: The Brandon Junior Woman's Club will hold its Summer Camp Teen Forum 2013 "Inspire the Positive" from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 29 to Aug. 2 in the Nativity Catholic Church Youth Center, 705 E Brandon Blvd. The program is open to girls entering grades 6-8. The cost is $70 in advance or $80 at the door. Space is limited to 75 participants. Registration forms are available at thebjwc.com. School choice applications: The Hillsborough Choice Options application period for magnet programs, School Choice and Career & Technical Education programs for the 2013-14 school year closes July 23. School choice and magnet programs are available for students entering grades K-11. Students currently enrolled in a Hillsborough County school should apply directly online. Students new to Hillsborough County public schools can download an application from the Choice Options website and mail it to the address listed on the application. Students who wish to remain at their current magnet or choice school, or prefer to attend their attendance area school, do not need to complete an application. Scholarships: Six students at the Academy of the Holy Names were awarded scholarships in the spring. Junior Angelina Bartucci received the full-tuition Endowed Kelly Ann Martz Memorial Scholarship. Juniors Virginia Barreda and Argie Cabalan and sophomore Eleeza Santos were each awarded a half-tuition Ana Maria Baldor-Bunn Memorial Scholarship. Junior Allie Reichert and sophomore Konner Brewer were each awarded $5,000 Light Foundation Scholarships.
