The Pasco County school district has scheduled two events this month to inform families about choice programs and how to apply using the new Pasco Pathways application system. These "Pasco Pathways Expos" will start in the gymnasium at each of the locations below. There, parents and students can gather information on various programs, then later get more detailed information at individual sessions held by representatives of each program. Those who attend must register in advance. For information on how to register, visit pasco.k12.fl.us/ed_choice.

Nov. 26: The expo for west Pasco school choice programs will be held from 5-8 p.m. at J. W. Mitchell High, 2323 Little Road, New Port Richey.

Nov. 29: The expo for east Pasco school choice programs will be held from 5-8 p.m. at Wesley Chapel High, 30651 Wells Road, Wesley Chapel.

Dec. 3-14: Online application window for middle and high school choice programs.

Jan. 8-18: Online application window for elementary school choice programs.

Feb. 5-15: Period when families can accept an invitation to a middle or high school program.

Feb. 20-March 1: Period when families can accept an invitation to an elementary school program.
