A Florida man was rushed to the hospital on Friday after rescue officials said he was attacked by an alligator at a Charlotte County golf course.
The man, 50, was diving for golf balls at the Rotunda Golf and Country Club when the alligator bit him in the left arm, fire rescue told reporters at the scene.
The man freed himself from the alligator and made it back to land, where he called 911.
