TAMPA — A panel of doctors and educators will discuss student mental health issues at Plant High School on Thursday evening, following a screening of the documentary “Angst.”
The hour-long independent film combines interviews with interviews with students, educators and parents with the goal of helping viewers identify symptoms of anxiety, and encouraging them to reach out for help.
The Plant High screening will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday with a light dinner before the film and a discussion afterwards. Panelists include psychologist Nicole Williamson of Tampa General Hospital, Frameworks chief academic officer Shea Quraishi and Elizabeth Tanner and Michael Kelleher from the Hillsborough County School District’s clinical care and emotional wellness programs.
Plant High School is at 2415 S Himes Ave. in Tampa.
