TAMPA — The weekly report on COVID-19 cases in the Hillsborough County Public Schools shows three more student cases and 25 more staff cases since the numbers were last reported on Aug. 14.
That brings the total to 357 cases at 146 schools since the pandemic was recorded in Florida in March. Fifteen of the 357 patients were students and the other 342 were adults.
All 146 schools are ready to reopen on Monday, the school district reported.
Again, these numbers date back to March. The students are among the hundreds who have been on campus to take part in athletic training, preschool and other activities. Principals have been on campus all summer and teachers began pre-planning at the end of July.
