It may feel today like every event in America has been postponed. We now regret to inform you that America has been postponed, too.
The band America, famed for ’70s hits like Sister Golden Hair and A Horse With No Name, is the latest artist to postpone a concert in Tampa Bay due to COVID-19, or coronavirus.
The band was scheduled to perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on March 20. They hope to reschedule the show soon.
“In an effort to do our part to help slow the spread of the coronavirus among our fans and the country at large, the band America has made the decision to postpone shows booked for the coming weeks,” the band said in a statement. “We will do everything possible to reschedule when feasible. We encourage everyone to stay informed and follow the advice of the medical community to keep themselves healthy at this time.”
Ticket refund or exchange details are not yet available.
