Eight hundred new positive coronavirus cases were identified since last night, according to data from the state.
There were also 21 additional deaths linked to the growing pandemic. The deaths occurred in counties outside of the Tampa Bay area.
In total, there are 11,111 people who tested positive for COVID-19 in Florida, and 191 of them have died, according to state data.
