Tampa Bay’s summer concert calendar is just about depleted.

Rod Stewart has postponed his upcoming tour dates, including an Aug. 26 concert at Tampa’s Amalie Arena, until next year. The legendary British rocker will now take the stage Aug. 14, 2021. According to Amalie’s website, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick still appear scheduled to open.

Tickets to the original date will be honored on the new one; otherwise, click here and here and here for refund options.

Stewart’s show had been the last music concert until September at Amalie Arena. Controversial comic and podcast host Joe Rogan is still slated to perform there on Aug. 14. And over at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Daryl Hall and John Oates have not yet moved or canceled their Aug. 15. concert.

Meanwhile, Ruth Eckerd Hall is forging ahead with shows on its main stage, starting with Southern rockers 38 Special on July 24. Ticket packages start at $105.50, and masks will be required for admission. Click here for details.

Other concerts at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre — including the Psychedelic Furs on Aug. 11, Ricky Skaggs on Aug. 20 and David Archuleta on Aug. 22 — are still on for now, too.
