TAMPA — Ditch those boring white-cloth face coverings, Tampa.
The city launched a social media competition this week to encourage residents to submit photos of masks that “embrace face coverings as an essential, yet fashionable addition to any wardrobe,” according to a Monday news release.
The prizes include gifts cards ranging from $50 to $100 from local businesses. Some participants include Bern’s Steak House, Forbici Modern Italian, Columbia Restaurant Group and Armature Works.
To enter, submit a photo on social media (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) using the hashtag #FaceTheFactsTPA. Entries will be judged in the categories “Most Creative” and “Best Homemade.”
The deadline to enter is July 12, 2020 at 11:59pm.
