Hillsborough County will begin providing free cloth face coverings at 10 libraries on Thursday.

No appointment is needed but residents should call or text the library when arriving, the county said in a news release. Signs with the phone number will be posted at each site. Staff will deliver the masks curbside.

Each resident will receive two of the reusable face coverings and can request more for immediate family members.

Masks will be available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday at these locations:

  • Bloomingdale Regional Public Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico.

The City of Tampa has a separate order in effect.

Hillsborough County has ended the distribution of face coverings at county parks. Operators of small businesses in Hillsborough County may request a supply of 250 reusable cloth face coverings for pickup from the county.
