The unfounded claim is said to have originated in Europe. Doctors, medical groups and officials say there is no evidence of the shots preventing pregnancy.

On average, the Florida Department of Health has reported about 5,827 infections and 55 deaths per day over the past seven days.
There is no statewide plan to vaccinate Florida’s jail inmates, so each Sheriff’s Office has to figure it out themselves.
