A federal judge has ruled that the bankruptcy trustee can recover the assets of Leo Govoni, the founder of the Center for Special Needs Trust Administration. The St. Petersburg nonprofit filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in February citing the loss of $100 million that was loaned to Govoni shortly after he quit as director.
A judge approved the recovery of assets from the Clearwater businessman, whose companies include Big Storm Brewing.
Software that sends brain scans to on-call specialists has yielded faster treatment of stroke victims, improving odds of a full recovery.
Hospital performed record 889 transplants last year, surpassing three other hospitals renowned for transplants.
There are now 167 female patients who are suing Barry J. Brock.
