A 29-year-old terminally ill woman who planned to take her life Saturday under Oregon's death-with-dignity law released a video this week saying she'll likely wait.
"I still feel good enough and I still have enough joy and I still laugh and smile with my family and friends enough that it doesn't seem like the right time right now," Brittany Maynard says in a video posted to thebrittanyfund.org on Wednesday.
"But it will come, because I feel myself getting sicker. It's happening each week."
Maynard says has advanced brain cancer. In April, she said, doctors gave her six months to live ( tbtim.es/8ul). Last week she crossed one item off her bucket list with a visit to the Grand Canyon ( tbtim.es/9rt).
