Mama is a happy terrier mix who loves her treats

Mama is a white female terrier mix, approximately 6 years old and 64 pounds. She was found roaming near Richloam Forest in Brooksville, along with another dog. Efforts to contact her owner were unsuccessful. Mama loves interacting with the volunteers. She also loves treats, but must be given her treats with an open hand. Mama is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm positive and will have a one-year county animal license at the time of adoption. Her identification number is D#10320985. Inquiries about adopting Mama or other dogs and cats can be made at Hernando County Animal Services, 19450 Oliver St., Brooksville. Visiting hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Adoption fees are $50 for adult dogs over 25 pounds, $70 for puppies and small dogs under 25 pounds, $25 for heartworm-positive and senior dogs, $20 for adult cats and $40 for kittens.
