Mid Florida Community Services’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs are accepting applications through open enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year. The programs serve children and families in Hernando, Sumter and Volusia counties.
The Head Start and Early Head Start programs foster school readiness and self-sufficiency for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. The programs are open to families meeting the federal poverty guidelines and families whose children have a disability, regardless of income. Services are provided to children and families in early learning, health and family well-being while engaging parents as partners.
