TAMPA — Tampa police are investigating the scene of a fatal crash between a motorcycle and another motor vehicle near International Mall, a spokesman said.

The crash occurred just after 3 p.m. on Saturday near the intersection of west Boy Scout Boulevard and North Trask Street. Few details were immediately available as police began their investigation, a spokesman said. They believe the two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of Boy Scout Boulevard, and had closed the road to the public.

The driver of one vehicle remained on scene to assist police, the agency said.
