TAMPA — A 40-year-old woman from Hudson was killed in a single-car crash on the Veterans Expressway on Friday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The woman was driving north on the expressway near Hutchison Road at about 10:45 p.m. when she lost control of the car, entered the median and then hit a tree.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
The Highway Patrol did not release the name of the woman.
