Essay:

I believe that the vaccine should be the main focus of the government to immunize as many people as possible. We should prioritize those that are the most at risk of hospitalization or death, including the elderly and people with underlying health conditions.

We should also strongly encourage everyone to get the vaccine in order to more effectively create herd immunity. Aside from the vaccine distribution everyone should be wearing masks while inside and around other people excluding family members. I am against the closing of our state and country again due to the massive economic impact it caused, wreaking havoc on small businesses and the working class. Additionally, there needs to be a greater focus on educating people on what this virus is, how it spreads, and how to prevent it from spreading.

Educating people on the virus would create clarity for those questioning the need for masks and to provide understanding about the severity of this pandemic. Most of all I believe that people should just use common sense, be reasonable and protect yourselves and others.
