Essay:

As one who has lost many friends and family to the pandemic, I believe that the way for the coronavirus to is for everyone to comply. Even though it’s hard for some people, I wish they would understand how real the pandemic is. I believe that everyone should wear a mask, and wear it right, to help prevent the spread, or keep it to a minimum.

I also think every store and restaurant should have hand sanitizer everywhere for people to use. I know we cannot control people, but it would be nice for them to be considerate of everyone’s health. Other countries have been able to keep the spread to a minimum because their citizens listen to the rules the leaders have placed and are considerate for others and their health. They all wear their masks and only go out if they absolutely must. They keep to themselves and their families. If they feel sick or unwell, they stay home to prevent others from getting sick, even if it’s a cold.

If they have come in contact with someone who had it, they stay home until they were certain they didn’t have the virus. The pandemic has been hard, and it’s closed many doors for many families along with taking so many friends and families. I wish we were more of a collectivist culture rather than an individualistic one, we’d actually be able to overcome the pandemic in agreement, rather than still fighting it on our own terms.
