TAMPA — A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Tampa’s East-Lake Orient Park neighborhood early Tuesday, deputies said.
The man was walking in the roadway at intersection of Harney Road and East Hillsborough Avenue shortly after 5 a.m. when he was struck, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. The pedestrian was taken to Tampa General Hospital and pronounced dead there, deputies said.
