Northbound I-275 entrance ramps from from Floribraska Avenue and Hillsborough Avenue are scheduled to close tonight beginning at 11 p.m. while crews perform overhead work, as part of the I-275 Capacity Improvements project.
The closures will be in place until 5 a.m. Monday morning, and advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be set up to mark designated detours, according to a news release from the Florida Department of Transportation.
Motorists should expect delays and congestion during these detours, the release said.
The designated detours shared by FDOT are as follows:
Floribraska Avenue Detours
Westbound motorists continue on Floribraska Avenue, north on Florida Avenue, east on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard toward the entrance ramp onto northbound I-275.
Eastbound motorists continue on Floribraska Avenue, north on Nebraska Avenue west on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard toward the entrance ramp onto northbound I-275.
Hillsborough Avenue Detours
Westbound motorists will be directed onto the southbound I-275 entrance ramp, continue south on I-275 to Exit 46B, east on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard toward the entrance ramp onto northbound I-275.
Eastbound motorists continue on Hillsborough Avenue, south on Nebraska Avenue, west on Dr. MartinLuther King Jr. Boulevard toward the entrance ramp onto northbound I-275.
