TOWN ‘N COUNTRY — A fire Monday morning burned through the Wing House restaurant on West Hillsborough Avenue.

Images from the scene showed heavy damage inside and outside the building. There were no injures reported.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue tweeted an alert about the fire before 9 a.m., saying backup units had to be called in after the first set of engines and crews were sent.

The agency did not respond to requests for comment Monday.

The Wing House at 8001 W Hillsborough Ave. is one of 24 locations across Florida, according to the company’s website. Founded in Largo more than 25 years ago by former NFL player Crawford Ker, the full-service, sports-themed restaurant features casual food and servers whom the company calls ”WingHouse Girls.”
