Art Festival Beth-El

Art Festival Beth-El celebrates its 42nd year with a three-day extravaganza Saturday through Monday at Temple Beth-El, 400 Pasadena Ave. S, St. Petersburg. The invitational juried show and sale features works indoors and outdoors.

A purchase award patrons reception runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday for those who have prepledged a minimum of $500. From 6 to 10 p.m., there is a patrons review and cocktail reception (free for purchase award patrons, $500 and above; sponsors, $250 and above; and benefactors, $150 and above). Donors ($25) are welcome at 7 p.m.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, admission to the festival and the Avenue of Shops is free. Light lunches are available for purchase.

On Monday, admission is free. The Avenue of Shops will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Paul Wilborn and Eugenie Bondurant will perform beginning at 11 a.m.; a luncheon starts at 12:30 p.m. (reservations required); and a docent tour begins at 2 p.m. Information: artfestivalbethel.com; (727) 347-6136.

Friends & Flowers luncheon

Academy Prep Center St. Petersburg honors "Five Fabulous Females," Stephanie Goforth, Rhea Law, Sonia Raymund, Gayle Sierens and Martha Rudy Wallace, at its annual Friends & Flowers luncheon on Tuesday. Mardi Gras Madness IX

Wine Weekend

"Wine Weekend St. Pete 2015: Cheers to 50 Years" launches the 50th anniversary celebration at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, featuring appearances by vintners Jean-Charles Boisset and Gina Gallo, a VIP black-tie dinner on Feb. 6, an international wine auction on Feb. 7 and an anniversary brunch on Feb. 8. Sip & Sea

The Junior League of St. Petersburg presents "Sip & Sea," a preview of its fundraising "Whale of a Sale," from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 6 in Harbor Hall at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, 1000 Third St. S. Participants are able to shop early and partake of food and music. $50. The sale itself is free and open to the public.
