Hometown Hernando for March 3

Literacy Week fun: During Literacy Week, Jan. 23 to 27, Jillian Minichino, assistant principal of Winding Waters K-8 School, dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and entertained second-grade students in Josephine Maher’s class by reading Little Red Riding Hood. She challenged the children to create new endings to the story, and the students their endings, as well as illustrations, and submitted a book of them to Minichino.
