Hometown Hernando for Sept. 16

 
Hispanic Heritage Month recognized:  During a recent meeting, the Hernando County Commission presented a proclamation to members of the Latin-American Civic and Cultural Association, the Spring Hill Domino Club, the Hispanic Scholarship Civic and Cultural Foundation, Latinos Unidos Social Club of Spring Hill, Te con mis Amigas, Ms. Hispanic Queen of Hernando County and the Dibaile Dance School and Ministry International to proclaim Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Hernando County. The proclamation recognized the thousands of Hispanic people in Hernando County and their strong sense of community, work ethic and love of family.
