Benedictine sister attends leadership conference:  Order of Saint Benedict Sister Roberta Bailey, prioress of the Benedictine Sisters of Florida, recently attended the assembly of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious in Atlanta. Presentations and group sessions focused on the theme “Embracing the Mystery: Living Transformation.” The conference has approximately 1,350 members who are elected leaders of their religious orders, representing about 80 percent of the 49,000 Catholic sisters in the United States. The organization develops leadership, promotes collaboration within church and society, and serves as a voice for systemic change.
