Pumpkin patch will benefit Humane Society of Tampa Bay

 
Linda Brunner a volunteer at the Humane Society Tampa Bay works on stacking pumpkins at the Humane Society building located at 3607 N. Armenia Avenue in Tampa. The pumpkins are for sale and are a fundraiser for the Humane Society Tampa Bay. Brunner along with other Humane Society volunteers and a group of sorority sisters from the Delta Zeta sorority at the University of Tampa work early Tuesday afternoon unloading the pumpkins that arrived today from Michigan. Preparation is underway for the Annual Pumpkin Patch at HSTB Starting on Thursday, October 9, the shelter grounds will be transformed into a friendly Halloween Haven where youÕll find plump pumpkins, painted jack-o-lanterns and festive decorations. Not only is our Pumpkin Patch a great place to get gourds, but itÕs also the perfect spot for photos with your children and pets. Hours are Sat-Mon: 10am-5pm & Tues-Fri: 12-7pm Pumpkins will range in price from $2-$20. Proceeds will benefit the homeless pets

Brunner, other Humane Society volunteers and sorority sisters from Delta Zeta at the University of Tampa unloaded the pumpkins, which arrived from Michigan. The annual Pumpkin Patch starts Thursday, with the shelter grounds transformed into a friendly Halloween haven. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday and noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
