USF students protest grand jury decision in Ferguson shooting

 
25 University of South Florida students protested the recent Grand Jury decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson for the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO., by marching across the USF Tampa campus, Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Participants included students from Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), Amnesty International, Students for Justice in Palestine and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating.  Students gave several speeches near Cooper Hall after the march.

University of South Florida students march across the campus in Tampa on Tuesday to protest the decision of a grand jury not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the death of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. Participants included members of Students for a Democratic Society, Amnesty International, Students for Justice in Palestine and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. Students delivered speeches near Cooper Hall after the march. Protests over the grand jury decision have taken place in many cities nationwide.
