Beginning next week, Pasco County officials will hold informational meetings to address flooding concerns in specific watershed areas.
Residents and businesses will be able to learn about drainage patterns, watershed limits, roadway conditions and how to prevent future flooding. The meetings for each watershed will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the boardroom at the West Pasco Government Center at 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey.
Bear Creek/Pithlachascotee watershed, which includes the Bass Lake, Yellow Lake, Lake Worrell, Golden Acres and Cranes Roost neighborhoods.
Pinellas Anclote watershed, which includes Anclote River Estates, Elfers Parkway and the Veterans Village neighborhoods.
Port Richey watershed, which includes the Magnolia Valley, Suncoast Gateway and Holiday Hills neighborhoods.
Dates for additional meetings regarding other watersheds will be announced later, officials said.
