TAMPA — Craig Latimer on Monday filed to run for another term as the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections.

Latimer, a Democrat, was the chief of staff in the Supervisor of Elections Office for three years before he first won election to the office in 2012. He defeated Republican Rich Glorioso.

Latimer, 63, previously was a major in the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office until 2008. So far he does not have a challenger in his bid for re-election. The job pays $139,772 annually.
