St. Petersburg's public works administrator, Mike Connors, postponed a community meeting on Monday with neighborhood associations to discuss St. Petersburg's curbside recycling program. Marlene Murray, president of the Council of Neighborhood Associations, said it was postponed due to "scheduling conflicts." Murray said the city has not indicated any conclusive decision about recycling service in alleys. When the city-wide program started last month, recycling bins were only allowed on streets for pick up. Murray said the meeting will be rescheduled later in July.
