TAMPA — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to be the keynote speaker next week at the Tampa Convention Center for a conference hosted by U.S. Special Operations Command.
Clinton will speak May 23 at a sold-out dinner for the International Special Operations Forces Week conference. Adm. William McRaven, SOCom commander, has invited special forces delegates from 96 nations to attend.
SOCom is headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base.
McRaven helped plan the mission that killed Osama bin Laden.
