SEMINOLE — The Department of Veterans Affairs announced Thursday that it has appointed Cory Price as the new assistant director of the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center.
Price, an Army veteran who was most recently an administrator at the VA hospital in Orlando, will have oversight at the Young VA of logistics, nutrition and food services, police, prosthetics and sensory aids and volunteer services, according to VA officials.
Price served nearly 12 years in the Army overseeing helicopter ambulance employment and operations in the United States, Thailand, Germany, Kuwait and Iraq. He left the service in 2009.
Price began working at the Young VA, formerly known as Bay Pines, on June 29.
