Remember those declarations that teens are done with Facebook? Think again.
Facebook remains the most-used social media site among American teens ages 13 to 17, according to a new study from the Pew Research Center. And, surprisingly, boys visit the site more often than girls. The teens are hugely aided in their use of social media by smartphones and other mobile devices.
A look at the numbers:

Percent of teens surveyed who said they use Facebook, with the same percentage saying they use more than one social network of seven options they were asked about.

Percent who said Facebook was the site they used most frequently versus the six other social networks included in the survey. In addition to Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat, the survey listed Google Plus, Twitter, Vine and Tumblr.

Percent of boys who said that among the social networks they use, they visit Facebook most often. Thirty-six percent of girls said they visit Facebook most often. The survey of 1,060 teens was conducted online Sept. 25 to Oct. 9 and Feb. 10 to March 16. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.
