LAND O’LAKES ― A driver lost control and plowed into the garage of a townhouse on Friday afternoon, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
No one was seriously injured, but the residents can’t go back inside because of the damage.
The incident was reported to 911 at about 2:45 p.m. The car drove right over the lawn and crashed into the left side of the garage of a townhouse in the 21400 block of Clubside Loop.

The homeowner was in the garage at the time of the crash but was not injured, firefighters said. The driver, whose name was not released, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is now being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol. But the residents had to evacuate because of the damage. It was not known when they’ll be allowed back into their home.
