LAND O’ LAKES — A Pasco bicyclist died around noon on Sunday after he rode his bike into traffic on County Road 54 near Black Lake Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say William Aaron Lyle, 57, was hit by a 2013 Landrover Evoque that was traveling east on County Road 54 while he attempted to cross the road going south. He died at the scene.

Lyle, of Land O’ Lakes, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, troopers say.
