A Pasco County man died from his injuries Monday after his motorized scooter was struck by a Jeep.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Matthew Thomas Brooks, 37, of Holiday was riding east on Holiday Lake Drive in a gas-powered, motorized scooter around 6:15 p.m.
Mary Nora Ann Stevens, 56, of Holiday was traveling west on Holiday Lakes Drive in a 2008 Jeep Wrangler.
As Stevens turned left onto Viking Drive, her vehicle struck the front of Brooks’ scooter.

Charges are pending, according to troopers.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, troopers said.
