A Pasco County Walmart was temporarily evacuated Tuesday as deputies worked to remove a person from the crawlspace above the ceiling inside the store.

Deputies were able to draw the person out of the space above the Walmart on State Road 54 and Little Rd. in New Port Richey using a Taser.

The person appeared to be under the influence of a substance, deputies said, but the substance is unknown at this time.

The incident is under investigation.
