CPR DEMO DAY: Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point will offer a free community CPR Demonstration Day Feb. 1 in honor of Heart Month. It will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the Graduate Medical Education Conference Room, 14108 Glacier Drive, Hudson. A 45-minute class will be held every hour throughout the morning; each class is limited to 75 people. The demonstration class instructs how to give CPR in case of an emergency. SERVSAFE CLASS: The University of Florida Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service will offer the ServSafe Manager Certification class and exam on Feb. 5 at the One Stop Shop Stallings Building, 15029 14th St., Dade City. The class begins at 8:30 a.m. for reviewing material from the textbook. The exam will follow lunch and participants will have two hours to complete the test. Participants should be comfortable with the material prior to the class, so early purchase of the textbook is recommended. FREE DENTISTRY DAY: Grand Dentistry of New Port Richey will offer free dental services from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 7 at 4530 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Cleanings, fillings and extractions will be provided to those without dental insurance. Patients will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Grand Dentistry dentists, Drs. Veronica Thompson, Stephen Gardner, Andrew Holovnia and Nadine Jean-Baptiste and their team will provide free dental care. Other participating providers include Drs. Eduard Pocola and Joan Marie Gonzalez of Little Road Dental Care, and Drs. Julian Ortiz and Anna Kratser of Nine Eagles Dental Care. WOMEN’S HEART HEALTH LECTURE: A Lunch-and-Learn with Jennifer Roller, MD, a board-certified gynecologist, will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 3 at AdventHealth Dade City, Classroom 108, 13100 Fort King Road, Dade City. Dr. Roller will discuss how heart health and women’s health are linked, and what questions women should ask at their annual checkup. A light lunch will be provided.
