Troopers said April Ann Musgrove, 43, of Ridge Manor, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 9:45 p.m. south of Ashbrook Drive.

Musgrove was driving a 2013 Chevy Malibu south on U.S. 301 when the crash occurred. Troopers said Donathan Paul Buck II, 28, of Trilby, was driving a 2006 GMC Sierra north on U.S. 301 when he partially entered the outside shoulder, over-corrected, went over the median and struck Musgrove’s car. The Sierra overturned.

Buck was taken to Lakeland Regional Hospital with critical injuries, troopers said.

Alcohol was not suspected to be a factor in the crash, troopers said.

A family friend of Musgrove has started a GoFundMe to help her family.

The post says that Musgrove was a mother of three and had worked at Tin Can Pam’s, a discount grocery in Dade City.
