A 27-year-old Odessa man is accused of repeatedly sexually battering a 10-year-old girl and photographing the assaults, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
Justin White showed the photographs to investigators and said he didn’t want to take the victim’s “innocence.” He now faces 19 felony charges.
The arrest report doesn’t say how the allegations against White came to light. A deputy interviewed the child on Monday, the report said, and the 10-year-old said White repeatedly forced himself onto her and sexually assaulted her. The assaults took place in Holiday, the report said.
In a separate interview, deputies said White told them he knew the victim’s age when he engaged in the acts. He said it happened nine times over the last six months.
When White talked to deputies, the report said, he admitted to the acts, said they had happened over the past six months and said he knew the victim was just 10. He showed investigators several images that he took with his phone of the assaults, the report said.
He was arrested Monday on nine counts of sexual battery of a minor. On Tuesday, 10 additional counts of possessing, controlling or viewing the sexual performance of a child were added.
He was being held Wednesday in the Pasco County jail without bail.
