Mid Florida Community Services has suspended in-person appointments and is offering an online application process for emergency support services and assistance from the Low Income Energy Assistance Program. The nonprofit serves individuals in Pasco, Hernando, Sumter and Citrus counties. The online application is at: mfcs.us.com/Emergency-Support-Services-10-45.html.
Clients also may request a paper application be sent to them by mail or may call for assistance. In Pasco, call the Dade City office at (352) 567-0533 or Hudson office at (727) 857-5495; in Hernando, call the Brooksville office at (352) 796-1425 or Spring Hill at (352) 606-3372; in Citrus, call (352) 527-3809; and in Sumter, call (352) 793-3114.
