A 22-year-old Port Richey man was killed Wednesday night after a pickup truck hit him on Little Road.
The truck’s driver, a 44-year-old New Port Richey man, was driving northbound around 10 p.m. on Little Road near Kiowa Road where the victim was “standing or walking in the roadway,” according to officials.
The driver could not avoid a collision, the Florida Highway Patrol said, and hit the pedestrian. The man was taken to a hospital where he died of injuries suffered in the crash. The driver suffered minor injuries.
