A 59-year-old Tampa man died Sunday after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into concrete Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
At about 11 a.m., the man, whose name was not released by the Highway Patrol because of their interpretation of Marsy’s Law, was driving north on Bellamy Brothers Boulevard north of Johnston Road.
The driver didn’t navigate a curve and left the road, crashing into a concrete culvert, according to troopers. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
It was unknown whether he was wearing a helmet, according to the Highway Patrol.
